Weddings
Hi, I am Brittany Leonard, owner and principle designer behind Brittany Elizabeth Events. I majored in sports business and marketing in college and never thought in a million years I would end up as an Event Planner, but God had other plans. As captain of the cheerleading team at University of Oregon (Go Ducks!) I had many opportunities to be part of all kinds of events. From fundraisers and galas to grand openings and birthday parties. My favorite part of these events was jumping in and lending a hand whenever needed (which was a lot). I learned how to organize volunteers, lead an auction, delegate tasks and most of all how to make an event magical and memorable. After college I found myself working in the sponsorship and sports marketing world. I spent years working with high profile clients on sponsorships and hospitality programs, along with PGA Tour and Champion’s Tour events. From there I became an Event Coordinator for the foundation arm of a local University. There I honed my skills on all things pretty and profitable; from invitations and tablescapes to budgeting and fundraising. Currently I spend my days as the Meeting and Event Planner for a software company where I am in charge of all client and prospect facing events, large scale meetings, tradeshows and conferences.
While planning my own wedding I realized there was a big need in the market for really good and reasonably priced day of/month of coordinators. I had 90% of my wedding done and planned, but needed to hire someone who could do the last 10% and help keep us all sane the day of. I couldn’t find anyone. So Brittany Elizabeth Events was born. Since then we have grown to include much more than just our day of/month of coordination options.
I love not only the beautiful creative side of events, but also the logistical and strategic side. No matter what type of event you are throwing I can keep you on budget, while making sure your event is memorable and flawlessly executed.
